Metula’s community center is a nexus for community activities.
The community center operates a rich and diverse program for extracurricular activities, cultural activities, sports and recreational activities.

One of the most important goal for us in the local Council is bringing the residences together and creating a warm and supportive community which enables a variety of opportunities for learning and having fun.
as part of the project ‘class for every child’ the young children of Metula in grades 4-5 are benefiting from a generous subsidization that enables every child to take part equally in every enrichment activity.
The children and senior residents of Metula are active in many classes such as robotics, and space which are subsidized by the Ministry of science.
In Metula there is great importance in sport activities and we operate classes such as soccer, ice hockey, pilates, hiking and scouting, martial arts, singing groups for senior citizens, women sport team, and a variety of additional classes.
We are always open them the needs of the residents and we open up additional classes in according to feedback and suggestions.
Children and youth department
the children and youth department operates a variety of programs for children and teens, some of the activities are done it gradually by the volunteers of Metula which are always active among the children and teens.
Among the activities are afterschool care for children in grades 1-3, youth movement activities for grades 4-12, courses for young counselors, and holiday activities.
The department addresses the needs of the children all year, especially in the holidays.
A youth club also operates every evening for teens in grades 9-12, furnished with pool tables, mini soccer tables, ping-pong tables, lounging spots, computer gaming and a multimedia area, and a fully stocked kitchenette.
In Metula there is also a leadership program for the children and youth, and they are actively participating in ceremonies, while also nurturing a close and warm bond and relationship with senior citizens.
Library
Metula’s library contains approximately 45,000 titles in a wide variety of languages including Hebrew, Russian, and English.
There are also special collections containing ancient and unique books.
The library provides academic needs for a wide variety of services in the fields of education, information, and recreation.
The library is open and access to everyone who wants to use the information and tools of encouragement of reading for all ages, the amazing experience of reading for academic needs or just for fun.
The library operates storytime and showtime for children with the best writers and actors that would read or enact the finest stories for your children.

Day care
Metula’s community center operates a day care for children aging 3 months, up to age 3.
The daycare operates under professional supervision and relevant overseers.
A warm and professional teaching staff is guided by an experienced and professional managers.
There is also a cooker that prepares warm and fresh daily meals for the children.
The daycare operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
It is imperative to us to allow the parents the best service while maintaining the safety and security of the children and emphasizing educational and academic performances.
The parents of Metula can rest easy when they are working or they are out and about on arrangements. The staff of the daycare promotes education of values, decency, and professionalism.
